There application engineering team is one of the premier technical pre/post-sales support team in the electronics and communications industries.
As a RF / Microwave / Digital Test Application Engineer, you will work with leading technology companies to learn about what they do and how brands like Keysight can make a positive difference in the way they do business.
You will be trained on product and technology while working on projects that prepare you for your role within the application team. Once your training is complete you will have exciting opportunities to work closely with customers, convey the value Keysight can bring to their business, and be recognized for the results you help deliver to our business.
Responsibilities
- Assists the field sales organization to meet or exceed sales quota, through the provision of technical expertise. May be client or product oriented. Contributes to sales account planning.
- Participates actively in the sales process from deal qualification to deal closure.
- Owns the deal’s technical closure. Is knowledgeable of competition and able to identify lockout specification (identify Keysight’s competitive advantage over competition).
- Helps prepare tender compliance specification documents highlighting benefits to customers
- Analyses customer requirements and recommends appropriate solution. Is responsible for pre-sales demos and for enhancing customers’ experience and satisfaction.
- Does Seminars / Workshops on RF / Microwave / Digital subjects to customers at key locations / customer sites
Required qualifications
- We are looking for 3- 5 years experienced candidates in a similar role / field. Fresh college graduates with a minimum B.E. or M.E. degrees may also apply.

- You must demonstrate the ability to work closely in teams and understand the dynamics of a team environment. We are looking for candidates that have demonstrated leadership skills and have the ability to be dynamic and persuasive in a professional setting.
- The position reports to the Business Manager.
Preferred qualifications
- This position requires the following skillsets and attributes with an emphasis on technical expertise and communication skills.
- BE/ME in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent education with emphasis in RF/ Microwave systems and Digital test systems
- Strong understanding of RF / Microwave / Digital test and measurement applications.
- Passion for continuous learning in RF / Microwave / Digital test technology.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Effective presentation and problem-solving skills.
